“Lorsque Lorenzo, notre frère, fut ordonné prêtre à St- Eugene d’Argentenay, un banquet suivi cette grande cérémonie que l’on n’avait jamais vu avant ou après. Notre mère, Marie-Louise avait pensé d’enregistrer tous ceux qui ont parlé, incluant notre Père, Georges. Heureusement (après 61 ans) voici l’enregistrement de Papa qui restera avec la famille pour des générations a venir.”

“Lorenzo Sasseville, the son of Georges and Marie-Louise was ordained as a priest in the parish of Saint Eugene, Quebec. Following the ceremony (an event never seen before or after), Marie-Louis came up with the idea of recording the speeches from the reception. Our father was the main speaker. Fortunately for us, after 61 years, here is a digital sample of both Georges & Lorenzo Sasseville speaking that day in 1951 – a treasure for our family and future generations to come.”
