M. André Anne Sasseville, est décédé le 5 juin 2011 à Edgewater, Florida à l’âge de 81 ans. Le fils de feu (Georges Sasseville) et feu (Marie-Louise Potvin) de St-Eugene d’Argentenay, il laisse dans le deuil sa femme Anne-Marie Frigault et ses 4 enfants: Grâce, Linda, Johanne et André Jr. Et ses 7 petits enfants, 1 arrièr enfant petit, ainsi que 6 sœurs et 3 frères. Il a fait parti de l’Armée Canadienne pendant 3 ans, participant à la Guerre de Corée en 1950. Il était un membre des Chevaliers de Colomb.

La cérémonie à eu lieu le 9 juin 2011 à New Smyrna Beach.

In Memory of Andre J. Sasseville

Andre J. Sasseville, 81, of Edgewater, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Southeast Volusia Hospice Care Center, Edgewater. Mr. Sasseville, a Canadian Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, was born in St. Thomas d’Ydime, Quebec, Canada and moved to Edgewater thirteen years ago from Hartford, Connecticut. He was a member of St. Gerard’s Catholic Church and the YMCA, both in Edgewater; a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Canada and was a friend of Bill W. He was an avid horseshoe player and enjoyed bicycling and playing cards. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Anne-Marie; one son, Andre A. (Debbie) Sasseville of Wethersfield, CT; three daughters, Grace S. (Dave) Rogan and Johanne R. (Jack) Banks of Berlin, CT and Linda O. (Frank) Monikowski of Hope Valley, RI; three brothers, Paul, Gaston and Gregoire Sasseville, all of Canada; six sisters, Marthes Battles of Edgewater; Angela Ackerman of Melbourne and Paulette Gravel, Martha Frigault, Rachelle Schmidt and Camille L’Abbe, all of Canada; seven grandchildren, Anna, Christopher, Samantha, Cameron, Brian, Jack and Jessica and one great grandson, Owen. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters. Memorial Mass will be 11 AM Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach, Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 555 W. Granada Blvd, Suite A-1, Ormond Beach 32174 or the American Lung Association, 412 S.
